Press Release: Rankin School District #98

Re: School Board Members Day, November 15, 2023

November 15, 2023, is School Board Members Day across Illinois.  Our District recognizes and appreciates the leadership and community service provided by our Board of Education.  Our elected board members of Rankin School District #98 proudly serve our community through the volunteering of their time and expertise to provide guidance, leadership, and vision for our small, but mighty school district.  Our District is very thankful and grateful for the many sacrifices our Board of Education members make, including spending valuable time away from their families to serve our community!

Dr. Matt Gordon, Superintendent, commented about the Rankin Board of Education, “Our Board of Education sets the tone for the District via their tremendous example of teamwork, professionalism, care for all, and commitment to community service.  Given my involvement in the District operations and in the Board of Education Meetings, I am fully aware of how much time and effort they put forth, which is all for the betterment of everyone involved at Rankin.  I am very appreciative of how our Board achieves such a motivating balance of supporting everyone in the daily endeavors while pushing the District forward to the future.  Thank you to the Rankin School District #98 - Board of Education!”
