Individual Golf Sectionals
· (6th-8th grade) to participate in the Fall 2025 IESA Sectional Golf Match
· The Sectional Golf Matches for this coming school year will take place on September 3, 2025, for boys and September 4, 2025, for girls. The course locations for these events are currently to be determined.
· The District would enter individual golfers who have a parent that is able to become certified to coach their own child through the IESA (i.e. take the coaching course and concussion training). Please note that the District does not field a golf team as this opportunity is open to individuals with parents who become IESA certified. The parent would be responsible for transporting and supervising their own child, and be responsible for the coaching course fee of $19.95, the entry fee of $45, and the green fees for the golf round. If we have more than two individual boys and/or girls register, the parent of the third athlete and parents of any additional athletes (i.e. first come, first serve) would not be able to coach, but they would still be responsible for transporting and supervising their own children. IESA's deadline for entering is June 9th. Thus, if you are interested, email mgordon@rankin98.org before June 9th. After June 9th, any athletes who want to register for this event will be placed on a waiting list (i.e. no guarantee), and, typically, the entry fees double.
